Description

embellished with fine designs along the upper part of the blade, wooden sheath covered with lizard-skin, adorned with ornamental wire and metal tags (partly missing), min. dam., slight traces of usage and corrosion;
knives of the Fang tribes are distinguished by their beauty and refined designs which, however, do not camouflage their functionality.


The object Sword " ntsakh", around 1900 with the object ID 3039598 was part of the auction 81st Tribal Art Auction on October 31, 2015. The object with the lot number 386 achieved a sales price of EUR 2,400 with an asking price of EUR 450.
