Description

wood, gold leaf, metal, gilded wooden handle carved with two knobs with incised decor and two faces each, partly openworked blade (with traces of corrosion), base.
Such swords were primarily ceremonial and prestige objects, because they have neither point nor cutting edge.They were displayed at the royal court reflecting the power and authority of the king.
