Description

heavy wood, reddish brown patina, traces of black paint, circular base and seat, the outer surface of the legs has been carved in such a way as to give the stool an hour-glass shape, ornamental ridges in high relief carved round the slim waist, the whole is made out of one block of wood, slightly dam., fissures, partly spread with mass, original repairs in three places (inserted wooden pieces accurately fitting), abrasion at the rim of the seat, missing part at the same place, water spots
