Description

wood, partly shiny brown patina, three-legged seat, carved with an anthropomorphic head, dam., cracks, traces of usage and abrasion;
every initiated Lobi man is said to have owned such a stool. They were carried on the left shoulder when travelling. In cases of emergency they served as weapon as well.
