Description
wood, slightly shiny brown patina, black paint, in openwork design: two rows of human heads with prestige caps and tribe-typical facial features, min. dam., fissures, slight traces of abrasion;
although the bands are seemingly sculptural devices to anchor the heads, they can also be interpreted as frog signs. The frog symbolizes fertility and is considered a good omen.
