Description

wood, slightly encrusted brown patina, arms close to the body, apron made from plant fibre, metal ring with carious paraphernalia attached (reptile skin, small calabash), min. dam., cracks, slight traces of abrasion;
probably a power figure “phuungu”. These figures served as containers for protective magical power exercised by the experts against illness, to avenge sorcery and for supernatural assistance in hunting.
