Description

wood, greyish brown patina, rich black patina (head, front of the body), animal horn in the parting, cowrie shell eyes, drilled holes in both arms where originally paraphernalia were attached, small opening in the navel, the rear part of base and feet missing, traces of insect caused damage even at back and occiput, fine crack at the same place, minor missing parts (mouth), base;
because of its rather large size present figure once should have belonged to a village or a community.
