Description

wood, greyish brown patina, red paint, encrusted with clay-like mass, especially expressive face, dominated by a circular mouth (wide open as if crying out loud), embedded between “bulgy eyes”, c-shaped ears and strong teeth accentuated by red paint, head and neck carved with burls, slightly dam., minor missing parts (mouth, ears), cracks, abrasion, sacrificial traces, block-like base
