Description

wood, encrusted dark brown patina, slender body, the left hand grasping the chin, min. dam., slight traces of abrasion, socle;
sad “bateba” (“bateba yadawora”) are not dealing with witchcraft. They directly contact the inhabitants of the house were they were kept on special shrines. They express deep grief with different gestures and adopt the suffering of their owners.
