Beautiful figure with self-contained expression and elaborate hairstyle. It was probably once completely covered with kaolin.
Due to its patina this figure might be assigned to the type of “asie usu” figure. “Asie usu” represent bush spirits and are used by the magic priests in divination rituals (oracles).
