Very expressive figure with fine old patina and sacrificial traces.
Figural sculpture of the Montol belongs to the mens society “komtin”.
According to early records such figures were kept in small round stone houses, out of sight of women and children, where they dispensed justice after libations.
The object Standing male figure with the object ID 3045969 was part of the auction 93rd Tribal Art Auction on November 16, 2019, lot number 203 at that time and is currently available for EUR 2,500 in Open sale.
