Description

wood, brown patina, pigment remains, slightly dam., cracks, sacrificial traces (hat, face), abrasion of paint, base.
For an object possibly by the same workshop see Bamert, 1980. Both figures show various similiarities: double eyebrows forming a pointed tip above the root of the nose, bean-shaped eyes, scarification marks on the temples, hat and pointed beard, or the forming of arms and legs
