Description

wood, blackish brown patina, strong legs rising from short club feet, fine incisions of a banded tattoo recognizable across the chest, body painting in white and turquoise, sacrificial traces (scattered white liquid on head and shoulders), abrasion of paint, base;
presumably depicting the spirit of a venerated ancestor.
