Description

wood, coated with a thick layer of encrusted dark brown patina, red pigment, the head characterized by an overlong chin with indicated beard and a short small nose, the rest of the facial features nearly unrecognizable if not deformed through a thick crust of sacrificial patina, small feet rising from separate blocks, fabric (saturated with mass) wrapped around waist and ankles, slightly dam., patina missing in some areas, rep. (right forearm), the right hand missing, on base;
very little is known about the Kaka. Their figures all distinguish themselves by a very individual style. The objects known so far are mostly covered with a thick patina of soot, and as a rule are male figures.
