Description

wood, reddish brown patina, remains of a sticky black sacrificial patina backside, in pride upright posture with upraised bearded head, traces of metal cuffs around neck and right forearm, dam., the arms missing in parts, presumably once holding a staff (remains visible), traces of insect caused damage, on plate;
because of it’s large size, the figure belongs to the type of the “dege dal nda”, the so-called “sculptures of the terrace”.
