wood, greyish brown patina, remains of black paint, bearded face with regular facial features and characteristic coiffure, beautiful modelled body with prominent genital, carrying a hoe over the left shoulder, beautiful detail: how the fingers are closed around the shaft of the hoe, fragmentary (right forearm as well as feet and base in the front area missing), cracks, abrasion of paint, base
