Description

wood, rich blackish brown patina, block-like body with narrow shoulders, big hands resting aside a prominent navel, unusually “enlivened” facial features with inclined head and lowered eyelids, haido and chin beard extraordinarily artificial and fine carved, just as the tribal marks on neck, belly and back, even the sides of the base provided with ornamental decor, slightly dam., missing parts (plaits), crack (left side of head and body), rep. (base), abrasion of paint
