Description
ivory, drilled holes in place of ears, anus and genitalia, missing parts (both feet);
the openings were filled with magical substances and the figure used as a charm with the task to protect its owner from illness and evil spirits. Grooves on the inside of the arms could derive from the constant rubbing of cord (for attachment).
