Description

wood, stained thick encrusted patina, remarkable projecting pointed chin/mouth area, coiffure with forehead crest, min. dam., small missing parts through insect caused damage, cracks, slight traces of abrasion, base;
present figure shows no distinguishing gesture which is why it belongs to the type of “ordinary bateba phuwe”. They should protect humans against witches and sorcerers, should help finding a partner for marriage and prevent illness and infertility.
