Description
wood, encrusted patina, base
The thick ritual encrustation is characteristic of prolonged ritual use. Over time, repeated libations, sacrificial offerings, and the application of magical substances accumulated on the surface, forming a dense patina that testifies to the figure’s active role within ritual practice.
