wood, brown patina, pigment remains, rectangular cavity in the back, surface structure strongly marked by insect caused damage and weathering, cracks, missing parts, metal plate.
These powerful sculptures serve a powerful intent - the disclosure of witchcraft directed toward kin or members of the community. Their potency is increased by libations and magic substances inserted into the body in carved-out receptacles
