Description

wood, blackish brown shiny patina/matt greyish brown patina, slightly dam., abrasion of paint, base;
partially closed eyes are typical in this imagery that depicts elders in their role of mediating misfortune, sickness and death in the past as in the present. The magical loading originally attached to the body has been lost.
