Description
wood, matt dark brown patina, glass bead eyes, cavity in the head filled with mass, a piece of animal skin with remains of fur on the forehead, opening between the legs (“cryptofetish”), band of fabric around the neck, slightly dam., cracks, metal plate;
only few figures of the Pare are known. They served diviners, healers and sorcerers as auxiliary means with their ritual practices.
