Description
wood, reddish brown patina, elongated trunk with the arms carved close to the body, face with round framing, slightly dam., missing parts (feet), cracks (back of the head), on block-like base;
such figures presumably represent protective spirits. They received sacrificial offerings from families and inhabitants of the village.
