wood, partly encrusted brown patina, short arms without hands, sexual characteristics of both genders, expressive face, min. dam., missing parts (right foot tip), cracks, slight traces of abrasion, on wooden base;
the figures of the Igala are thought to bring good luck and prosperity to the families of their owners, and to serve as guardians of the children.
