Description

wood, encrusted patina, polychrome paint, typical posture (hands) and modelling of the face (grooved scarifications), plant fibre necklace, min. dam., minor missing parts (toes), slight traces of abrasion, on base;
used to be kept in ritual houses of communities and families. Once a year they were presented in public. The relationship between man and deity was strengthened by celebrities and sacrifices.
