Description

wood, the body dyed in red with accents in black and white, the face painted with yellow ochre, breast- and arm ornaments partly painted, partly carved in flat relief, slightly dam., missing parts through insect caused damage (head-neck-back), crack (base), paint rubbed off, on plate;
presumably used in context with fertility rites.
