Present figure was probably part of a male / female pair of figures from the possession of a diviner. At the séances, the spirits spoke through the figures in high-pitched otherworldly voices. Mostly they were used when it came to the investigation of a death.


The object Standing female figure “tasé” with the object ID 3052442 was last part of the auction Collectors’ Items Sale at September 24, 2025 on Zemanek-Münster Auction house. The object with the lot number 120 achieved a sales price of EUR 300.
