Description

wood, reddish brown patina, black paint, beautiful modelled body, slender neck and regular facial features, especially beautiful when looking at it in profile, unusual: scarifications arranged in a circle around nose and mouth, slightly dam., fine cracks (left side of the body), strong abrasion of paint, base;
sacrificial traces refer to a former usage as “asie usu” figure (bush spirit).
