The AHDRC contains a whole series of female figures that can be formally assigned to this canon of figures. Compare, for example, AHDRC 0070969, a figure collected before 1920, or AHDRC 0070962, all of which show stocky bodies with strikingly short arms and legs, while their heads sit on long necks and are crowned by high palmette-like hairstyles.
