Description

wood, greyish brown patina, encrusted in some areas, with extremely broad shoulders and accentuated breasts, proportionally small head with crested coiffure, radial incised tattoos at the corners of the mouth, geometrical scarification marks at shoulders and breasts, slightly dam., base;
the Basa Nge are a small ethnic group, belonging ethnologically to the Nupe, and having their homeland on the confluence of the Niger and Benue.
