Description
wood, black shiny patina, fanciful coiffure: massive central lobe with fanned ending, broad shoulders and muscular arms, rep. (breakages in shoulder area on both sides fixed by nails), old place of repair (breakage at central lobe fixed by brass clamps), cracks on the backside, missing parts (feet), strong abrasion of paint, base;
possibly a work of the “Crowns Master” or his workshop (compare E. Fischer/L. Homberger, 2014, ill. 73 ff).
