Description

heavy wood, blackish brown patina, remains of pigments, left hand resting on the breast, the right one on the bulging belly, carved apron, eyes inset with white miniature beads, min. dam., small missing parts (both foot tips);
the Bane are an ethnical group in Cameroon, which belongs to the Fang (Pangwe).
