wood, blackish brown patina, fabric loincloth with cord for attachment, dignified posture, elaborate scarifications and coiffure, deformed back of the head, on plate;
presumably a commemorative figure for a female dignitary, who must have died in old age, which is indicated by the emaciated body (breasts) with the accentuated ribs.
