Description

wood, brown patina, remains of kaolin, wearing strings of glass beads around the ankles, the hips and the neck, crowned by an oval head with simplified facial features and high headgear, min. dam., cracks, slight traces of abrasion, on wooden base;
figures like the present represent spirits or ancestors and were most likely used in a rite called “logbu”.
