wood, shiny brown patina, min. dam., rep. (breakage at the left foot), cracks, slight traces of abrasion;
common to all such figures is their origin consisting in the contact between Euopeans and Africans. Usually they show elements of the traditional style of the respective region. Frequently the African artists allowed wit and criticism to flow into their sculpture.
