Description
wood, dark brown patina, kaolin, provided with just one arm, nose and ears with drilled holes, slightly dam., abrasion of paint, cracks, base.
Figures of the Mumuye with only one arm are to be found from time to time (for example in the Menil Collection/see Herreman, 2016), but a figure in shape of the present one might well be considered as almost unique.
