Description

wood, brown patina, pokerwork, straight handle, tapering to the end, surmounted by a mask dancer “cikunza”, min. dam., slight traces of abrasion, base;
“cikunza” is the master of the “mukanda” initiation society; he embodies both religious beliefs and chiefly power and is associated with notions of virility and fertility.
