wood, slightly encrusted dark brown patina, in form of a standing male figure, playing a flute, surmounted by a standing kalao bird, min. dam., traces of abrasion, fine cracks, base;
the excact function of this object is unknown. Most likely it played a role in the “poro” secret society.


The object Staff with the object ID 3036260 was part of the auction 76th tribal art auction on March 22, 2014. The object with the lot number 218 achieved a sales price of EUR 8,000 with an asking price of EUR 1,500.
