Description

wood, dark brown patina, metal tags, crowned by a janiform head with varying facial features, min. dam., slight traces of abrasion, socle;
the Lwimbi are a small ethnic group living in Angola to the south of the Songo on the banks of the Cuanza with the Chokwe. Only a few art works are known from the Lwimbi which are strongly influenced by the latter.
