wood, dark brown patina, remains of pigments, min. dam., missing parts (base), cracks, slight traces of abrasion.
“Mvunzi” figures should protect humans against certain evil spirits. They usually belong to the main fortuneteller, who employs them in cases of sickness, for theft or for the hunt.
