Description

wood, matt middle brown patina, striking filigree limbs, incised delicate ornaments, accentuated by white pigment, slightly dam.;
figurative free-standing sculpture is extremely rare in the Massim area. While the human figure is commonly found as decorative and symbolic element on utilitarian items, full-figure representations of spirits and ancestors appear to be very limited.
