Description

wood, middle brown patina, remains of kaolin, elongated oval ladle, the massive handle carved with a ram’s head, min. dam., cracks, slight traces of usage and abrasion, base;
occasionally the spoons were carved with cow or ram heads, giving a hint on the domestic animals, slaughtered at big festivities in order to provide an adequate meal for the guests.
