Description

wood, partly shiny dark brown patina, back of the spoon carved in form of a ram’s head, upper part of the handle in open work design, rep. (handle), slight traces of abrasion and usage;
occasionally the spoons were carved with cow or rams heads, giving a hint on the domestic animals, slaughtered at big festivities in order to provide an adequate meal for the guests.
