Description

bamboo, wood, rotan, dark brown patina, split bamboo cane, carved guide in shape of a stylized hornbill, fixation with plaited rattan cuffs (slightly dam.), abrasion of paint;
the “wawi i kaino” is a functional spear-thrower. It uses the principles of the lever to enhance the force and accuracy of the thrown spear.
