Description
wood, dark brown patina, encrustations with mass/clay, spherical package with magical loading at the belly, min. dam., slight traces of abrasion;
the Sundi live in the northern estuary of the Zaire (Kongo). Like their neighbours they used to carve a great variety of fetish figures in different sizes and with different paraphernalias attached.
