Description

rattan, stabilized by braided reed rim, round iron disc with thorn-like protrusion on the front, wooden handle on the rear, min. dam., traces of usage and abreasion, cracks (back).
The round iron discs are found exclusively on the shields of so-called “forward fighters”, a rank bestowed as a sign of distinction only on especially brave warriors.
