The de Vos van Steenwijks are an old Dutch noble family from the Dutch province of Overijssel. A. N. Baron de Vos van Steenwijk (1912-1996) was active in the service of the Royal Navy in the Dutch East Indies region, the forerunner of today’s Republic of Indonesia. From 1960 to 1964 he held the rank of a Vice-Admiral.

of narrow slightly waisted form with raised middle ridge, rich ornamental decor with floral motif in the centre, especially striking: bright azur and mint green colour, slightly dam., abrasion of paint
