Cenderawasih Bay, formerly Geelvink Bay (Dutch: Geelvinkbaai) is a large bay in northern Papua New Guinea, in the Indonesian province of Papua. As in most Oceanic cultures, the ancestor is consulted for advice and help in all major matters.
