Description

leather, dark brown patina, of circular form, conical-shaped vaulted in the centre, decorated with punched ornaments, massive leather handle on the rear, min. dam., slight traces of usage;
the entire bulging surface of the shield is surrounded by a thick bulbous rim, which is supposed to prevent spear tips or sable blades from sliding off the rim of the shield during a fight.
